It is an extremely well-run hotel, with friendly staff, excellent food and in a fantastic location.
The Hotel Meisser is situated in a beautiful village in the lower Engadine Valley in Switzerland called Guarda. The hotel is well-run, the staff is very helpful and make you feel part of the Meisser family while you are there. It is quiet, the food is excellent, and the mountain views spectacular. We would definitely stay here again.
Lovely old style house, nicely decorated.Good breakfast buffet
Room service poor, rubbish bin not emptied, bedding not changed, towels removed instead of replaced etc..Informed no coffee at 21:15 as the coffee machine had been turned off. Asked to sit outside with 7°C as the tables inside were set for the evening service etc.
Wonderful family owned small hotel set in mountain ledge village in eastern Switzerland.
Fantastic location in unspoilt surroundings. Very friendly staff who were welcoming and always cheerful. Reception staff greatly assisted in resolving transport problem, ensuring our holiday plans were unspoilt.
Friendly staff, very attentive to the guests - even got an upgrade.
ambiance of classical mountain hotel of 1900, beautiful dining room and lounge, phantastic location overlooking mountains
lack of spa facilities
The location in a quiet peaceful village is wonderful. The staff are very friendly and organised. All very professional. Stunning hotel
Hiking - the town is lovely
The hotel has paper thin walls. I could hear people talking, the plumbing and fan from the bathroom and hanging up of clothes in the closet. The bathroom had no amenities such as shampoo. The restaurant staff was not particularly attentive nor visible during breakfast. I received someone else's bill when I paid. Overall, the hotel was overpriced and the rooms were nothing special.
Very kind welcome, very quit and restfull, pretty view and a very good place to walk around.
Herrlich.
